Family Division Art Project

Foundation supports the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Family
Division Art Project

The Allegheny County Bar Foundation recently made a charitable gift of $12,500 to the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas in support of the Family Division’s Art Project. The foundation would like to sincerely thank the ACBA Arts & Law Section, the Family Law Section, and those ACBA members and law firms that made charitable gift to the foundation in support of the Family Division Art Project.

The Family Division Art Project, coordinated by the John Stobart Galleries, will exhibit photography on the various floors of the Family Division’s facility. Art will be thematically arranged on each floor using the photography of well-known Pittsburgh artists, including Richard Kelly’s photographs of children and family life, Jack Wolf’s images of Pittsburgh bridges, and Mitchelle Barutha’s hand-colored photographs of family life at Kennywood. In addition to these images, the Manchester Craftsman’s Guild will coordinate a photographic project, which will invite inner-city school children to photograph their concepts of family. Images from this project will be selected and exhibited in the new Family Division facility.

The foundation continues to accept charitable, tax-deductible gifts in support of the Family Division Art Project. If you would like to make a contribution, please send your gift, payable to the Allegheny County Bar Foundation, to:
