

August 2009- Inaugural Dixon Scholarship awarded to Benjamin Gobel
The inaugural Daniel B. Dixon Scholarship has been awarded to Benjamin J. Gobel, a third-year law student at the University of Pittsburgh. Gobel holds a 3.11 GPA and participates in various extra-curricular activities including the Pitt Moot Court Competition where he placed as a quarterfinalist, Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and the Young Entrepreneurs Club. In his scholarship essay, Mr. Gobel writes that his interest in real estate law extends from his life-long interest in business. Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, Mr. Gobel plans to pursue a legal career at a firm that will allow him to practice in the field of real estate law. Congratulations to Ben on this achievement!
