Patricia L. Dodge
Patricia L. Dodge is the Managing Partner of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP.
A Scott Township native, Dodge obtained a bachelor of science degree from the Pennsylvania State University in 1974 and her juris doctorate from the Duquesne University of School of Law in 1981.
Dodge has been a commercial litigator in the Pittsburgh region for her entire legal career. She is a partner at Meyer, Unkovic & Scott, where she became its Managing Partner in 2012. She focusses her practice on complex commercial litigation, oil and gas disputes and employment-related matters. She has tried lawsuits to verdict in both state and federal court and also represents her clients in domestic and international arbitrations. Dodge also frequently mediates private disputes and lawsuits pending in both federal and state court.
Dodge is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and before the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
She has been involved in numerous facets of the ACBF during her career. She is an ACBF Patron and is a member of the ACBF Executive and Lawyers Fund Committees, among other roles.
A member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Dodge is a member of the ACBA Civil Litigation Section, Women in the Law Division and Finance Committee.
Dodge is also active in other legal organizations. She is a Fellow with the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, formerly serving as president of that organization. She’s also a Hearing Officer with the Disciplinary Board of Pennsylvania.
In addition to her legal work, Dodge has been involved in an array of community and charitable endeavors. She is presently on the Board of the National Aviary and formerly held elected office as the Council President of Thornburg Borough. Dodge and her husband, fellow attorney Howard Schulberg, live in Thornburg, a small community near Robinson Township.
